Launching DC2...wat rpm?

as above...when doing the quarter mile...at wat rpm do u guys launch ur dc2..so as to get the best timing?

mines a gsi but i launchh at 4500-5000rpm ;)

man i lauch at that rpm and my wheels cop wheels spin and hit the inner guards. not good.maybe my tyres...

pretty much stock.. just exhaust and intake have been changed.. i've raced 2 vti-r's with the same mods and its been pretty close but i've always been ahead by half a car. and 3 civic vti-r's ive left for dead.. drivers skill i guess

^^^^ yeahh this guys got the quickest n/a gsi i know..

naa man i ran 15.24 timed by g-tech so i dont really mention it.. although it was still on the track, just the track was actually meant to be closed, we just sneaked in lol. and yeah it was with a stripped interior when i ran 15.24 so i think the g-tech time is believable.

safc only adds a little bit and its only partly tuned.
RAN 15.25 with out it.

ill get itt properly tuned once i get a PnP, cams, and intake manifold.

ill be looking for mid low 14s then

I run at 2500-3500 rpm's if it's a hot day and the track is clean, more if it's cold, 3500-5000 rpm's, but I also do a longer burnout.

I did one run at WSID
i did 15.2 lanunched at 3000rpm and the car spun allover I let off and acclerated againe and spun againe i wouldnt get traction so i let off and shifted to second and it started moving i got a 15.2 not bad for loosing about 1.5 secs on the start
on my second run a smashed my gear box in first gear so i dont know whats a good launch
you got to do trial and error try low rpm and work your way up
