air con stopped working

My air con in my 92 EG has stopped working. I have been conscious to run it at least once per week to keep the seals good. Now when I switch it on it doesn't cool at all and I cannot hear the compressor (or whatever) turn on. Is there any easy checks (fuses etc) I can make before I seek professional help? Thanks

you probably dont have enough gas for the pressure switch to turn the compressor on.. you need more gas!

did your vtec fall off too?

just get a/c gas repumped for liek $100

First and formost check if you still have the AIR con belt... then if you dont have it.. get one and attach... then re-gas...only if empty..

Bridge the wires on the pressure switch and if the compressor switches on you know its not a mechanical or electrical problem..get the system re-gassed and leak checked but don't be surprised if no leaks are found as the gas slowly bleeds out of the flexible rubber hoses..
