Hey guys is your rear center brake light (the one on the parcel shelf) loose?

Both the plastic cover and the metallic frame/assembly is very loose and wobbles around. I can move it around about 1cm left and right and back.

I think the Window Tinters removed it to tint the rear window and didnt put it back properly. I tried pushing it in to no avail.

The problem is that I cant see any bolt or hole or anything that would fasten it down into the parcel tray. However if I look at the metal assembly from the rear seats I see large metal clips, but they dont seem to get a good grip on the chassis.

Here is the plastic cover lifted, you can see the loose metal assembly in there

Here is a pic of the top of the boot directly under the brake light, anything missing?

Any ideas?

Yeah, the tinters will generally remove the brake light rather than cut around it as it looks weird..

It should be a clip on as far as I remember if not stuck on with double sided tape... If it's a clip on and it doesn't clip on, I fear that the clip might be broken...

The thick metal clips are part of that metal assembly in the first pic, one on the left, another on the right. So they cant be broken (they look fine to me). It looks like those clips just align the assembly to the chassis.

I'm just baffled as to why there isnt a bolt or something to hold it in place (my Civic has a bolt).

Anyway, Im gonna get my 1000km service tomorrow, and get them to have a look.
