Hey guys, just bought a little K & N breather for my rocker cover, anyway i wanna remove the original pipe which plugged into the intake arm, however theres another hose goin back into the intake plenum just under the rocker cover.

Can I unplug this or somethin?

Im a bit confused. lol :confused: :confused:

And it goes up and attaches to the pipe comin off the rocker cover then goes back down into the block

Dude I'm just going from memory here... what I think you are talking about is a little coolant pipe that goes to the TB.

You pretty much remove the rubber hose/s off the two metal pipes that are like stuck together cause of the little tab welded between them, and run the hose to where it is supposed to go back into the back of the head/block I think.

Might need a barbed brass fitting if the hose is not long enough to reach to the back of the head. Try doing this when the car is cold as there will be a little coolant lost when you do it.

U will need to completly replace this hose - as said above, they are bonded together. Just goto clark rubber and grab a hose made for trannys/fuel with the same ID of the old 1. Cost u a few dollars.

i ended up doin a quick job and just cut the top one off, and left the bottom part.

Looks alrite and does the job.

out of curiosity, why are you putting a valve cover filter on? the hose is there for a reason...

because my intercooler piping doesnt have an attachment for the hose

ah, well, that would be somewhat of a legitimate reasoning...


I'd look in to proper ways to set up a catch can set up now

Yeah, there isnt much coming out of it
Its just a temp fix for now

Will throw a catch can on soon
