is the rsx-s in america faster than our australian type-r
i thought our type-r were faster than the rsx-s but when i look at the stat http://www.car-stats.com/stats
the rsx-s o-60mp/h in 6.1sec
can anyone here tell the whether ours type-r can do the same

well...same engine, except aust version is lighter, has lsd and supposed to have closer ratio 6 speed gearbox (same as jdm)
So going by that...would say aussie dc5r is faster..

rsx-s is suspose to have a similar output to the type r... its not quite as good though
The 0-100 time is not important. Did it have the 1/4 mile time? I would say they are similar... They do have the same engine. I would put my money on the AUSDM DC5R though, especially if on track racing.
And the Americans seem to post faster times and specs than Aussies do. I don't know why. Their dyno figures are also higher. They also use the standard system instead of the metric system, so they're kind of old-fashioned... but that's getting off topic now :P

further to that, 60miles/h = ~94km/h.. not that it would make THAT much difference lol. but yes, i think the AUDM DC5R would hand it to the RSX-S due to tranny and weight reduction.

i'd jus tlike to also think that because we're Australian, it's just given we're better :twisted:
