Just a simple question, and im 90% sure it can fit but, will the Spoon calipers fit the MY05 17x7 rims?

you dont need to change the rotas....

but due to the rim design i would say you will need a 10-15mm spacer which would mean you will need to extend your wheel studs to compensate. You would also need to cut the brake dust shield behind the rota as well :)

My god, 15mm!

Seriously, if you need that big a spacer they just don't fit. What is the point in "upgrading" brakes that don't need to be upgraded if it throws your geometry out and ruins your handling.

Are you saying they fit or they don't? Very confused.

I'm considering Slaz's set. Do you have anither set for sale?

JDM DC5R Brembo calipers will fit the S2000, but you'll need custom brackets.

There was a disucssion about this in the JDM corner of s2ki Aus...i'm pretty sure I saw it there :)

Cheers, I'll check it out. I don't really see the need to upgrade the brakes, even with my set up but I expect the engineers will want to see some upgrade when I get it certified.
