Ive been meaning to say this for ages but never got around to saying it ... but wtf is with filling up with hondas, i know especially in the LS and early model Si preludes that these cars suck to fill up, everytime i go fill mine up i need 20 extra minutes jus to work out the angle!

it jus chaos, everytime i fill up, it stops every few seconds, so i need to find the right angle... so putting in a full tank take 20minutes litrally!

sometimes your not ment to put the full stick into the hole... just go half way with the stick and the clicking should stop... and also sometimes dont squeeze the handle to the max... just balance it.

used to happen to me if jam the nozzle in the tank... just put it in a touch past the entry and it should be fine

I wont close this yet - it might go somewhere :p.

As others have said, dont shove it all the way in and makes everyone happier .

Yeah I noticed this on my Civic alot, but I realized that it depends on a few things.

The service stations' pump design/model. Those flashy new pumps you see at some BP's are great. Older pumps mis-detect the overfill sensor or the sensor is dirty, or needs replacing.

Weather - it seems that in hot or humid weather it tends to click off more.

...Ive yet to see it happen with my Euro though, but then again ive only filled up 3 times.

yeh dont penetrate the hole too far otherwise ull find that that the pump will prematurely click... ... ............ . O_o
