l've been searchin, but can't exactly find what l'm lookin for.

I want my car to slightly go harder, and was thinkin of the following:
-B18C injectors
-B18C throttle body
-polished intake and throttle body
-B18C fuel pump

will these make it go harder/how much would this set me back?

what about adjustable cam gears and cam shafts??

any comments welcomed/suggestions

thanks guyz

Just dumping those B18C parts won't do much.

Do the following in order:
1. Extractors
2. 2 1/4 full mandrel bent exhaust
3. Intake / CAI
4. Bore out your throttle body
5. Cams & Cam gears
and most importantly an ECU to take full advantage.

OH and another thing. Weight reduction. Should see some gains there.

thanx dude..l'm getting the 2 and 1/4" piping of a mate..but not mandrel bent..is there a big diff?

already got headers..or extractors..dunno which one....and intake is done.
what do u mean by "bore" out my throttle body? how bout polish and stuff
cams are expensive aren't they man ? and also how much is an ECU

Those are very general questions. I suggest you read up a bit more.

You could either bore out your TB or get annother one. But i'm not sure if a B18C TB will bolt to the D16 manifold. Can someone confirm?

In answer - the inlet ports are of different size , and of slight differnt position - no point hooking up a bigger inlet manifold if the stock block inlet will restrict it.

Another few good lil mods for our " ancient beasts" are things such as " inlet + exhaust porting ( to improve flow) throttle body porting , CAI ofcourse , advancing inlet cam + exhaust cam timing. . . . all of these can be done on stock computer with little money ;) (but sound knowledge :))

Before jumping into anything - i suggest joining www.thezcr.comor www.d-series.org, and read read read up on our "ZC" :)

Best of luck - Ben

I was actually reffering to matching the TB to the intake manifold. Didn't say anything about puting a B18C intake manifold on a D16 head ;)
