hey guys, i went to autobarn today and said i need an oil plug, or that drain bolt washer and he said i need to know the size. What size is it for a honda integra gsi 98 model.

well its takes a size 17 socket or spanner to open it! (in my 95) don't know why they can't figure it out for themselves lol....they should have books for parts and sizes.

sorry to hijack, but does anyone work for honda? and can get me a genuine sump plug for my eg? mines round now LOL

yeah thats what i asked him, don't you have the sizes in a book or manual you can look in, and he said they're are so many different sizes.

washers are 14mm and cost 60c from Honda

the sump plug cost $5.60 at your local Honda dealer

Yep - I'm using the Spoon Set, (Sump & Gearbox). But I haven't noticed any metal on em yet....Thank God. :o

Don't the factory ones have a little magnet embedded in them?


EDIT: I think thats just for the auto tranny plug.

hey guys i went to a honda dealer, and i asked the guy i need a oil drain plug and he gave me a washer and said i don't need one....wtf??? and i thought i needed to change the actually plug (the bolt or whatever it is). So I just took the washer and that was that....any problems?

hhahah as long as the old bolt still works!!! the bolt is not a servicable item :) just the washer.

you only need to change the bolt if the thread is worn, or the corners on the outside are rounded off and you can't open it anymore lol..I'm going to get one on the weekend.
