anyone know any melb dealers for laserline alarm system? think mine is a little worn out and needs a quick fix and replace the remote.

or should i just take it to some eletrician and fix it?

my problem: when i press the remote, nothin happens. :( but the red security light is still on, so i assume its the remote fault?

same as urs, my remote not working, two of them. One stops working due to battery, but after i replaced the battery, it won't work anymore (light is on). Second one, i think i dropped it and suddenly it's not working and the light is on. Opened them up and there seem to be nothing wrong.
Most of car alarm store should have laserline.

It could be be the transmitter or the receiver itself.
remote should not be expensive, I expect around $20 - $30 may be.

if there rolling code remotes, you have to reporgram them to the alarm brain

George, I bought you a new rubber remote surround but the problem is with the button, its a bit worn out and lost its 'click'. It still works fine and theres nothing wrong with the battery or transmitter, just the button is showing its age. I had it checked and diagnosed by a Laserline agent over here a day before i sent it over to you. They didnt have any new buttons in stock that day.

If I were you I would NOT change that alarm. Its the flagship Laserline alarm with all the added fruit costing just over $1200. Sure you can change it if you want ?

i duno why that alarm cost so much, maybe i duno the features it has. and since i cant find a laserline dealership to fix the remote, i mite deciding on changing it. i want a two way pager alarm so i know wats happeing with my car when im not around.

its still not decided, mite go to auto eletrician to check it out

It has window shock sensors, bonnet sensor, interior ultrasonic sensors, window/sunroof closing feature, plus its integrated central locking as well.

I was told there was a Laserline dealer in Melbourne. I would check them first
