Hi all.. Im about to order a set of auto-couture wheels with the size of 19*8.5 front and 9.5 rear with the offset of +41. Actually I was after the offset of +40 front and +38 rear as Genk and another euro owner I know have got them on their euros. My question is with the difference of the rear offsets, if I run +41 in the rear, the wheels would sit inside more than Genk's 3mm, by the way would it come out a lot enough? I just want to mod my euro VIP style and I know it will put the stess on the bolts and stuff with the low offsets.

um good luck man but iam not a fan of rolling guards...and i'm pretty sure it wont work....just think about it.. 16x 6.5 or 17x 7 standard so the wheel 19x 9.5 will be 3 inches wider already at the rear then you go with +41 offset as opposed to standard +55 and there is another 14 mm....so basically it will stick out 89mm more than stock..mmmm...
i wouldnt do it...

9.5 at the back? man, you gonna have a very uncomfortable ride like my friend's euro. hitting the guards everytime and scrapping

thanks guys for tha replies.. I am half convinced and half not lol but by the way I have already ordered the rims from a seller in this forum...well....
my current wheels are the 05 luxury model rims so they are 17*7 and offset+55 then I used the wheel offset calculator and got the figure : for front , inner 5mm less and outer extend extra 33mm : for rear , inner 18 mm less , and outer extend 46 mm.. mmmmmmmmmmmm Im I right?
many thanks guys im very apreciated

Yeah that will look VIP for sure! A word of warning though - that size of 9.5" is going to attract attention and police are cracking down wrong wheel sizes in Melbourne- just look at what happens on Chapel Street most weekends.

^^ trippy... double post :p
Yea i think it'll give the "VIP/pimp" look. That extreme sort of size and width though will only be a step backward on the euro in every department aside from looks (if that's the style your into)

yes i agree
VIP bling for sure but you will lose the comfort and ride quality of the euro
but if thats the path ur goin down (show spec like me) i guess theres some thingss ull have to sacrifice in order to make it look good

I understand what you guys are saying man.. for me the reason I chose the euro is it is stylish compared to other cars at the same price range. And also later I have to agree that euro is very good at handling and even the performance is very good as well but.. I dont think I will track my euro man so I just want to go for the "LOOK" rather than anything else.. every person has different view of thinking right.. by da way thanks guys ;) i think our euro is a very nice car!!

i tend to agree with your views on the euro kitbkk
i too also see the euro as a cruiser than a track demon. but thats not to say that it cant be a track beast if one really wanted it to be. (i.e chris F with his tasteful mods of gruppe M intake/maxim works headers/j's racing single exhaust + various suspension upgrades and lightweight rims. yes i am stalking you :D )
i personally chose the show spec route because my goal is to win a few awards and to turn a few heads at car shows and to show everyone that u dont need a skyline or S15 or wrx to win awards.

I think it will fit but a bit uncomfortable tho...and the Euro guards cannot be rolled far...only can get a little bit of space even if u rolled the guards as I also rolled mine (ask Nelson in Racing Project)

hey Kucin, does Nelson in Racing Project do good works on rolling guards? where are they located? Or is there any other good places in Melbourne where they use a heated gun with a guard roller (this kind http://www.guardroller.com.au/).. thanks man

the euro's a blank canvas. Doesn't excel in any one area stock but depending on how you mod it, it can turn into the track car or show car that you want it to.

no problem at all, he'll do everything to make the wheel don't scrub the guard.
