could someone help regardging my engine model
i have a 94' accord exi
wat is the engine model or so???
i was going to get a h22a
but thought it would be better get a turbo for it
i need to no wat model so i can get stronger parts for the motor itself

f22b I think, non-vtec its what I got.
I'd say H22a man thats what im doing soon

with putting the h22 instead of the original motor on a 94'exi
does the engine fit straight in or is there alot of modification involved

Look for the engine code stamped on the engine block - usually near the top of the gearbox.

As stated above, the engine number will contain the clue. It will have a digit or two before it and then it will say something like h22 or f22b etc.

I would start by researching what your car currently has in it before looking at turboing or an engine conversion. You would hate to spend a huge amount ripping out the engine to find that it is perfectly fine for your application.

engine type: f22b - sohc vtec as far as i kno!
pretty sure of it too.
with regards to swapping with a h22a, ud need new mounts etc as the block is completely different.

it's a straight fit, no major mods needed
