my central locking (key ring) wont unlock/lock the car but still sets the alarm.

i was putting the window bak in for XXXX time :mad: cuz it poped out n i was playing round with the żlock arm? pulld it n it unlocked.. if u get what i mean?

im guess thats what did it? maybe put it out of sink or i dunno. any1 got any ideas?

ive tried both key ring alarm thingy mabobs n both doors still lock when i locked with key..

it's a Civic Si 93 hatch thanks for any help. :D

theres a bolt that holds onto the metal stick when u lock and unlock this bolt which is conencted to the central locking devise. check if you've moved that. i did that in my eg also

il get pics for you tomrorow of what to look at, if u havnt solved ur problem yet

If the key locks/unlocks both doors from driver & passenger side then central locking is fine.It sounds like the interface between cent lock & alarm is cut,maybe an inline fuse blown,etc.Find loom of wires under dash that go between both doors(about 5 wires),there will be a cent lock control box hanging off these.Then find 2 wires that go from this loom/box that go to alarm box & check for opens,shorts,fuses etc.If that doesnt work take alarm box to someone for service,cause relay for cent lock inside might have died.

btw is it both doors or just the one? the one isnt it..

yeh neither door's unlock/lock when i press button but alarm works..

and ye when i lock drivers door with key im pretty sure both locks.

yeah my sis has the same problem. Once you take the door out there is a rod that sticks to the the central locking mechanism which has just come off. Put it back and maybe put a cable tie to stop it from poping out.

thanks for all help i fixed it wasn't hard just had to take door of n see what was happening.. when was fkn with the lock/unlock arm it pulled the arm out ill put pics so can see.
