comp 9 seem to be a good brake pad. along with Ferodo DS 2500.

stay away from any EBC stuff and Bendix.

compared to stock, everything but low level bendix or EBC stuff, will be better than stock.

he'll need to get pads that are in the 500 cel rating or higher. but also keeping in mind street use too. anyone know how good winmax perform on the track? in regards to pad wear and rotor wear as well as braking bite and fade.

pretty much anything jap is good as long as it's the right application with correct heat ratings.

simon get project mu b spec, been researching around, best for your application and also not too expensive. can get F&R set for under $400.

I have heard Endless (NA-R) and Ferodo (DS2500) to be pretty good, but all depends on how much you're willing to fork out. Endless are $$ while Ferodo's are a little more affordable (still around $200+ a pair).

I'm using a brand called Galfer (spanish company) and atm they fell pretty good (more info here (http://www.galfer.es/ANG/p_auto_fdt1055.html)). They bite and stop you fast, but just doesn't feel like it (lacking a bit of feel). For around $150 a pair, it's not too bad. Race Brakes are alright for street and occasional sprints, but wouldn't recommend them for those who go on track often. You can get all of these pads from http://www.mercurymotorsport.com.au/. Great bunch of people, and they can ship the pads anywhere in Aus for around $10-15. Feel free to email them for prices.

Ferodo DS 2500 are great for a crossover (track/street) pad, just ordered my second set.

Should only need to do the fronts.

ok 1. how exactly do mean the stock brake pads are rubbish?
2. what makes you think its the brake pads and not the size and
quality of the brakes itself?
3. its brake pads not brakes pad.
