check engine light on?

hi guys. just fitted a apexi rsm meter in my ef9. now when after driving a few minutes my "check engine" light on the dash comes on. what does this light normally mean apart from the obvious! recon it could be a dodgy earth? :(

it means you f up when installing your RSM.

turn your ingition to pos II, pull back your pasangers carpet look into the center of the ecu cover and look for the red blinking LED,

count how many times it flashes. long flashes mean tens and short flashes mean units

eg two long and one short flash = code21 VTEC solenoid

you probably got a code for the VSS or ICM
