others including myself have done the conversion and there is alot of info on the swap floating around in the accord forum.

Do a search for 'h22a accord swap' and go from there.

Make sure you put on a 5.5" exhaust
hahaha kidding
Where are you thinking about getting your conversion?
If your in sydney, GP does a pretty banged up job

umm yeah dw about the guide anymore, engine is ALMOST done. we did it ourselves. we just gotta do the wiring bit now. its all so confusing lol
but yeah thanks for the help anyway.
i got a 2.5 inch exhaust lol 5.5 U CRAZY!?
2.5 inch exhaust is best for h22a yeah?
Hopefully my car should be done by this SAT!! WoOO

I heard 2.25" was the best for the h22a..i could be wrong though
I was just wondering where did you pick the engine from? I'm looking for an h22a half cut in Syd but am having no luck at all finding one :(

but gl with the build!

lol thanks man.
im from melb, i found my engine through the yellow pages website.
just type in honda wreckers and just get all the numbers down. and give 'em a call, u might get lucky.
i bought my front half cut for $1850 pretty good price. came with a gearbox and ECU aswel.
i just dont know if the engine works or not haha

I used to have a 2.5 " exhaust with my h22a but changed to 2.25" in an attempt to quieten down the exhaust.

I found tthat the 2.5" gave the car a stronger top end but the 2.25" gives the car stronger bottomend and midrange and IMo doesnt affect the top end considerably.

As most of my driving is in the mower to midrange of the RPM i found the 2.25" is the better choice.

rico- have you tried www.adelaidejap.com.au (http://www.adelaidejap.com.au)? they might not have any in stock right now but always have them coming in on order. They can ship it to your door. Thats where i got my half cut and it came with 3 month warranty and they changed the timing belts as a precaution too. Engine had done 60067 accordng to odometer.

Yeah tried that cam and many others in Syd, mostly got auto transmissions or ones without gear boxes going for 2200+
bit expensive for that...
