[Euro Lux] 2006 Stock rims.

Hi all,

Some might remember that I was thinking of new rims and I was close to getting some however the ones I wanted won't come in until May-June.

I've actually grown used to the stock rims now. I think they look quite decent and like them alot.

Same for the chrome grille. So I've decided to keep it stock.

Anyone else have comments on the aesthetics of the 2006 Euro Lux after 4 months now?

i got the std 06' euro rims and i think they look quite decent, certainly a 'euro' design.

5 months of owing the 06 euro lux... same with u love in the grills and the rims...
it differentiates the 06 with 05... and personally i think the front bumper is a better design :D
was thinking the swap the rims with MDX... :P:P

Gotta say I still prefer the standard rims on the '05 luxury... but maybe I'm just biased ;)

everything updated on the 06 looks better especially the intergated foggie's much cleaner looking, but the chrome grill its abit too much imo easy fix though

I was a big fan of the rims that were on the 05 -- even before they were available in Australia. I was bit uncertain about the first pics of the new 06 wheels and especially the chrome grille. I got to see an 05 and 06 side by side in the dealer when I went shopping for my car -- and I liked the 06 more.

I love my 06 and both wheels and grille are remaining stock.

I've never been a big fan of chrome, but somehow it works. I find that the Sports looks a little bland without it (and weirdly, I thought the Euro R/Type S/Sports grille looked great in pictures but when I saw it for real I didn't like it at all!).

I still find myself turning to look at it (Milano red 06 lux) in the carpark -- I just love it!

yeh, when the 06 first came out i reckon it looked like shit...

but over time, i realised that the front bumper and grill is actually much more pleasant than first thought... ;)

the 16" standard rims look like shit in photos, but it looks ok in real life....i still don't like them that much though, i'm hoping to get 18" aftermarket rims when i wear my rubber down to like 30-40% tread.....

Everything other than '06 wheels I like on the '06. I still like the '05 Lux wheels more than others.
