Hey guys, not sure if this has been covered before but...

I bought a Skunk2 PRO Coilover set, and they haven't been installed yet. And i have been getting mixed answeres with whether or not strut bars are needed if i'll be running the coilovers.

So thats my question, do you need strut bars if you're running aftermarket suspension?

Search is your friend.

When you say strut bars I assume that you mean a bar that runs from the tops of the suspension heads across the car? If so, then they are not manditory. They do tighten the car up somewhat, but it is personal preference if you choose to use them.

IMO no. But its a good thing to invest in ~ as said above it provides a slightly stiffer link between both sids of suspension. Front = seems to increase steering response slightly and rear = seems to increase stiffness

 good one BEN!

definatelly personal preference as well. I have the front on my car and wouldn't take it off now that I know what it does for my driving technique and the driving I do. Others swear it doesn't do anything for them...

put it on the car - see how you like it. If you think its a beneficial modification - keep it - otherwise - well - sell it! haha
