I fitted a 22mm sway bar and Reinforcement kit in February of this year. It was making a clunking under load (hard cornering) I checked it at the time but couldn’t find any rubbing marks. After doing my latest service this week I’ve noticed that the bar has been rubbing on the lower control arms and has even put a slight dent in right LCA. Is there a way of stopping the sway bar rubbing on the lower control arm?
Have I got it all installed correctly?

u ll have to re tighten it... i have to do it once in a while... then it ll be ok for a bit...
but i m thinkin to put some sort of rubber around that area to protect it... untill i can come up with better idea

If the arm that joins the LCA and sway bar was longer it would solve the issue it would give more clearance between the swaybar and the LCA.

also i notice taht having the car sittin on diff height also makes a diff... coz i think its due to the change of distance btn the LCA and the sway

all you have to do is wrap some rubber around the part that is knocking. I fixed this with my ASR / DC2R rear sway mod. I cut some radiator hose and binded it on with wire straps.

No probs so far ..hasnt even melted ..

I’m having white line look into this and I will be getting replacement links to correct the problem. I’d rather solve the problem then just treat the "symptoms".

i THINK i may have this problem now too.

matt is it possible for you to jack car up, tak wheels off and LOOSEN all sway bolts, dont remove and 're align' it somehow? thats what i will attempt to do when i get a chance.

mine however is making contact in a different spot so i dunno

Well coz I’m bored I’ll show you guys how close the sway bar is to the LCA when the car is on the ground.

I’m currently talking to Wojtek from whiteline. I think he's talking about using links from another kit to replace my current ones. I’m waiting for him to get back to me.
