Darren just got off the phone with me. he put down a best ET of

14.1@110mph

and a best MPH of

14.2@113mph
2.8 60ft

Needless to say he was having trouble with launching and traction oh and his clutch wasnt holding either... Im happy with the mph, i think his aiming for 118 :)

His car info is here:

what car is it? Nd what mods?

link in first post to his mods.

the clutch just couldnt take the heat after a few burnouts. he only got 3 passes in.

1st pass bogged with a 3000rpm launch, and spun through into 4th
2nd pass bogged a little then spun through 5th because the wastegate line popped off and he backed off at 25psi =)
3rd pass he got a good launch at 5000rpm but still bogged, and clutch slipping right through all the gears and ran 14.1.

DNARacingworkings is gonna hook him up with a Action clutch or maybe he will go striaght for a twindisc/flywheel combo. Depends cause i dont think he wants to spend too much money on it anymore :)

i havnt got the timeslips but i'll let him break it down. He was running azenies at 18psi. Launching at 5000rpm but still bogging. James needs to hook him up with a 3step for his hondata s200 to make everything more consistant.

would of thought a low 13.
but considering the problems, i guess it's understanedable.
maybe some slicks will do nice... hms.. lol.

ahh yes that car... 14.1's fast! but im sure he's got potential for ALOT faster? by the sounds of things its an animal! i would be expecting a mid to low 13 with a good launch

hopefully he can launch better and get less wheel spin
animal of a car doesnt deserve 14s

in drag racing terms, the numbers point to a mid 12second pass easy..

yes big problems with the clutch and traction.
first pass traction was a problem but on the second and third pass all i was doin down the quater was hitting the rev limiter in 4 gear but going no where lol.
Dissapointing effort from the car.
but it will see WSID again with a new cluch and some semis hopefully do the mid 12sec mark on the reflection of my first pass of 114mph

yes with a mph like that over 110mph an easy mid 12second pass, with decent launch, clutch, tyres and shifting style.

what suspension are you running?

you shouldn't be using semi's for the drag strip, the side walls are too hard and makes it very difficult to launch. For the amount of power the car is putting out, quite a dissapointing time. But then again, there is quite a few turbo hondas out there in the same boat.

did you take the time to read the problems that the car had???

Good work boys, good to see you out there having a go.. once the clutch is sorted and once you can get it to 60 foot you will find the times will fall dramatically..

Surely did. Sounds like exactly the same problems other turbo honda's i know have. Just on a side note, my turbo EM1 with only 125kw with no traction either got 14 flat... So with 2xxkw, i reckon it was pretty dissapointing for sure.

Try BFG drag radial or just get M/T slicks.
You got awsome mph there.

what your forgetting is that my clutch was slipping in all my gears i was rev limiting in 5th gear on all my passes...........................
And you surly would be loosing as much traction s i would have i mean it another 112+ kw i have on ur engine.......
So dissapointed in the cluth not holding yes and the bogged dwn start yes.......

Good job dude I like the MPH for a first up time drag racing with this setup. But you really need some tires with grip as you already know or sweet talk the Online crew to do one of there killer chassis setups.
