Hey guys
Looking at purcahseing some 19s for my Eg Sedan. They are comeing off an Ek without any ride problems. Has anyone had 19s on an EG before and have they come across any fittment problems. Also when wheel fitting is concerned, Is there more room in an Ek then an Eg?

Thanks

I wouldn't have thought so. I have 17s on my EK and have some scrubbing issues....

19s are a bit extreme in my opinion. Besides that, you'd have to riding on 25-30 series rubber, and that's just crazy I reckon...

MAng. 19s is waaaay too big seriously. Even 4WD dont have 19" rims let alone Honda accords!

But yes, you will most proably have scrubbing issues. best to avoid. Max is 18"

have you got pics of this?

also, has the guy with the Ek done anything...the both suspension and or his guards....

coz there is no way i can see any car fitted with what...14's? (stock) being able to fit 19's with no ride problems..

there was a civic that online built that had 19s on it. It was the chamelion coloured one on the cover of hot 4s a while ago. There was also another sedan with 19's on it as well. Both cars were completely custom.

i have a photo with the ek sedan on 19s, guards rolled. Also Shwcar is running 19s too i believe. Ek has standard suspension.

i had 19's on my coupe. i had a pretty serious custom job done, rolled guards, inner linings striped, lowest springs i could find. my car was on bump stops on all for wheels i could not drive over 100km/h due to steering virabration. good for just cruzin around but NOT ofr daily driver. ill post a old pic up in my car specs. if i was u, i would not go larger then 17's unless this car isnt ur daily driver.
cheers

Wow guys i was dam stoked!! just checked em out today! 215, 35, R19. Rideing on superlow kings on an ek sedan, with rolled inner lips, scrubbing only on full wheel locks, and rides really well! couldnt believe it!

if thats wat u get on ur 17s, dont u think another 2inches bigger will make more problems?

a said on full wheel locks... not generally bottoming out on any part of the car.....

horrific because it's oversized and will only cause problems for the car in the long term -legally or mechanically :p

If that doesn't bother you and you like the look though...

yehh it does look hawt!! but im sure it cant be good :p u would DESTROY ur CV's and possibly more, because of the weight lol and the ride will prolly be crapyy... hence why civics didnt come with massive rims from the factory lol
oh and not to mention a 5inch upgrade in shoes will totally fcuk ur speedo haha

thats what an RSM is for, you can change your rolling stock to give you the correct speed reading

my goodness those rear guards have been pumped more than a 1990's version of shaq rebook pumps before a big game. Might have to get mine like that looks nice, would mean no issues at all with 17"s

MMM i am quite sure the guards have not been flared. Sore this car first hand and lips were only rolled. Can anyone confirm with me this, that these are the standard guard dimensions of an ek civic?

dayum...thats huge...but the only reason it looks half decent is because hes got a kit to match. do u hvae a kit? if u dont, u'll look super super ghey.

yeh i just looked at my hatch with my 17"s and looks like he has just lipped the guards which i will be needing to do as my guards are nearly rest on the wheels and they havnt sunk in yet :). Although 19"s would look mad 17"s are alot more practicle
