just wondering if any of you have ur audio gear insured. if so, what company u with, and how much extra they charge u.

Comes with my full coverage here, as long as it's bolted to the car, $180USD a month over 8 months for the GSR. We pay a little more a month to get 4 months no payments. The more cars we have then driver and other discounts help too.

NRMA will cover up to 3000 worth of car audio gear WITHOUT extra charge. I'm not too sure how much extra it would cost if the gear is worth more than 3k. You can always call up to get a quote, only takes a couple of minutes and all your questions will be answered.

I'm with RAA (SA only company? I think)
I have all of my stereo equiptment on my insurance and my premium stayed the same, but the stolen excess went up to $1000 (crash excess is $450)
