i have bought a fujitsubo rmo1a cat back exhaust and fujitsubo super EX headers for audm dc2R.

i tried fitting on the cat back couple of weeks ago but it didnt fit, coz it was too long. i then bought the car to an exhaust shops to have them fitted. the exhaust man said he will have to chop a couple of cm's off the b pipe inorder to fit it. as soon as he said that, i said "no" and left.

so i aked around... "what is the problem and why wont it fit?"
i was then told that the header on audm dc2R is longer than the jdm header, so if i want to fit the rmo1a cat back i will need a jdm lenght header.

so i went to buy a jdm lenght header, i chose fujitsubo super EX headers to match the rmo1a cat back. then i was told that these items i have purchased, wouldnt bolt on to the audm cat!

what should i do?

u need jdm cat or aftermarket cat for it to bolt on, ausdm cat is longer than jdm one, jdm cat has 2.5" collector

Wow... instead of changing 1 or 2 parts, now its like need to change the whole exhaust. What if replace the cat with a center box or bullet?

yeh... i figured out the hard way... i changed the axel back and had a jdm 4-1 mated on to ausdm cat.

recently just got new catback system, jdm cat and have to reweld collector to fit new cat so everything bolts on.... best to do it all at once

as others have stated do not touch the b-pipe, get a new catalic converter and modify that.
