new engine oil (NOW CLOSED)

hi everyone,

i just put in the mobil 1 10w-30 supersync. Wondering if this is the correct oil to be used at melbourne for my accord euro thanks.

Hoe many km's has the car done?
Normally Synthetic shouldnt be used until around arguably 15000+ km so the engine can wear in properly, but I believe SuperSynth is a blend of Synthetic and natural oil anyway - just like Honda FEO is from what Ive gathered. So it should be fine.

Honda FEO is the same thickness so thats not an issue. I used it in my Civic and it was great, even at 250,000km :thumbsup:

Most cars are broken in by 500 miles, but still syn oils can break down the seals. Takes about 25,000 miles to 50,000 miles before I would touch the syn oils. But that's just me and my shop guys and everyone I know. My $.02USD!!

This is a question i always wanted to ask but never got around to it.....my accord has done 216000 and was just wondering what engine oil to use i guess my question is not answered. What other engine oil u guys can recommend to use on my accord.

i just want to ask another question...ive notice that my stock intake pipe has got a hole in it i would gather that i have been driving it around alot without noticing it until the other day. i knoe that dust can be collected however, i just want to know wat signs do i have to look out for for example performance wise.......anothing else??
