Wot Exhaust on V6 6th gen

i tried searching but found nothing....

i want to get an exhaust for my car jus dnt know where to start

- my idea is a full 2.5 madrel bent system wit to twin tips either side of the rear..

1. How much more response and power would i get
2. would it be loud but sound nice "not farty"
3. should i get headers....if so what kind...custom.....computech...dunno


any help would be greatly appreciated!

i reckon you shouldn't get the twin loops unless you it's a mugen one.. becuae they are qutie farty. lol.
just get twin oval mufflers with a single tip, or 2 tips if you want.
i'd say it'd be quite loud.
response should be improved, so should be power in my opinion.

If you have the cash get a set imported from Comptech USA - best products to date for V6 accords. ApexI WS is quiet too but has a nice growl under WOT. Power response won't be much down low but the mids and higher up in the rev range should get a small change. Greddy makes a set for the CG6 too but theirs is bit loud for my taste. If you want something stealthier but has a better (more audible) sound then see if you can source a used Acura TL exhaust system from someone on V6p or something along those lines. you know we really show have like a V6P downunder because there are lots of us CG'ers here that have tones of questions but cant be answered because this forum is euro dominant.....my opinion anyways....

as for the exhuast i know about the computechs from usa jus a want to go through a dealer here in aust instead of overseas....
- are there any dealers that have CG parts here?...or can import them?

The company your reffering to is called "comptech" - just to clarify incase you make an enquiry about "computech" which doesn't exist.

i think i will just end up going to a good exhaust place and getting a nice subtle 2.25",cat back system,still run the twin exit pipes,put in a high flow cat, and see how that does...

i went to my local exhaist specialist today and i got a quote for a catback system..

2.5 inch system removed resonator and duel exhausts at the back\
he quoted me 450 for the lot or 600 with a hiflow cat..

what do you guys think

Sounds like a pretty good price to me since that includes 2 mufflers. I'd go the highflow cat. I hear they are an advantage in 6cyl's.
