God I hate them.
Especially when the stupid council leaves a freaking 30cm hole in the road that cant be missed.
*END RANT*
Anyway i recently drove my DC2R fitted with TEIN super streets over this huge ass pot hole (i thought it ripped my front bar off)
Would this have had any effect on my suspension settings or damage them in any way.

nah it shouldnt. thats why we have suspension. I once took my civic down an embankment (or steep dirt road) by accident at like 80kms and the car flew into mid air, then hit the ground via the front bumper. checked everything and is all fine. all stock however. Front bumper cracker, inner guards pushed in...
so ui should be fine. as long as u didnt damage the engine bits like sump , gearbox housing etc etc. which i highly doubt u wouldve.

yeah it should be alright, but if it was a bit hit then you may wanna get the wheels and sussy checked anyway.
here's some good info:

Couple of pothole stories:
hit a pothole - with the front LHS wheel - blew the tyre out and slightly bent my wheel... 10 seconds later my gf did thesame thing in that exact pothole in her Civic as she was following me.

When I had my old Golf - I hit a cut in the road which was MEANT TO BE filled in with limestone but wasn't - and actually blew out a headlight - BOOM, thought someone smashed a glass bottle on the road - but ended up being my headlight.
NOTE: if you're QUICK enough before they fill the pot hole in - you can try and claim any damage through the council! you will need photographs of the area, pothole and damage to the car - witnesses if you have any etc. I was unfortunatelly too late - they filled in the pothole 2 days after as I think people complained and i didn't have any pics.
