Sorry if this has been posted before, I'm a sometime-reader only.....
I had my 05 luxury euro serviced for its 40,000 today, and they've "reliably" informed me at the dealer that I "need" 4 new tyres. Now, I'm not a tyre fitter, I'm not even a car washer, but 40k clicks and four new tyres don't seem to equal.
What sort of wear are others getting on 17s, and what sort of life span should I expect?
