Ok guys I have purchased some ENDLESS VN9500 front pads for my EG hatch from egSi so I thought id write a review about it, for those who are interested in upgrading brake pads.

The installation of these front pads weren’t hard at all, since trav the wrenchin pro did it for me, the pads fitted nicely into the calipers just like OEM.
For installation guide DIY style Click Here (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35273)

First Impression: When I first took this car out for a fun run it was nice and subtle, it actually felt like an OEM front pad, nice and smooth, no squeaks or squeals, it certainly helps stop the car better then my OEM pads, I remembered at a certain speed (on track of course) with OEM pads, my car had a problem slowing down, but with these pads at the same certain speed, it has no troubles slowing down.

These pads are the type where it feels normal on normal day driving basis, but when you start working them and warm them up, they feel really good, I took the car through some twisties and it certainly inspires for late braking with confidence. Also these pads come in this nice baby blue colour, that I think looks pretty cool lol

Downside: I don’t know what is it… but trav has ENDLESS VN8500’s and his wheels doesn’t seem to have much brake dust, unless he cleans his wheels a lot =P, but on mine, a weeks worth of normal driving can make my wheels look gunmetal’ish from all the brake dust. So if you have light coloured wheels, such as white and you don’t mind cleaning them every now and then, then these pads are cool, but if you’re the type that fusses over brake dust amount then maybe look for another type of pads. But I will be fixing this brake dust problem by painting my wheels a darker colour lol

Sorry for photo qaulity for they are from my phone.
Also please note that the amount of brake dust on my wheels are from a weeks worth of normal driving + one day of twisties =)
Special Thanks to trav who gave me a good deal on these pads and helped me install them, and also thanks for the fun twisty run =D

Thanks for reading

yup. I've got the VN8500's - and I get a fair bit of brake dust. I think when they were new they dust as much - but a year down the line now and yeah - quiet a bit.

I love the Endless Pads... killer braking on stock Rotors!

Where are your shims? I got a set of 8500 off egsi but can't really see the brakes cuz the shims covers it. I got 9500 on the rear which you can cuz smaller shim. Nice blue colour tho. Only had em on for 10mins so far so havent been able to test em.

I didn't use shims either :)

These are great pads. I've found they don't give off any more dust than OEM did.

for the guys that have had these for a while, have you found them wearing the rotors much faster then oem pads?

Endless are great!!
I have them on my car and they work very nicely. There is a Dust Free model NA-M's. I am sure they still produce dust but is far less than the other models.

One thing which I made a mistake was dont change your rotors and pads at the same time :( they squeal a fair bit!

any aggressive aftermarket pad will wear your rotors more than OEM pads.

i had these all round on OEM rotors and i would not say that they excessively wore out my OEM rotors. they will ofcoarse chomp em more because they r designed to work for efficiently and premeture rotor wear is just a side effect of such pad. i now have the same pads on slotted rotors and they work very well.

endless

exactly what are the shims for? I think I should take mine off too. You can hardly see the brakes with the shims there.

I better go post in the noob forum haha.

edit: nvm found it. They there to reduce noise. So do you guys find braking noisy? I don't want noisy brakes even tho it looks better. Also lazy to try it out myself eheh so maybe more convenient to listen to you guys stories.

They worth it even if you only want them for the blue bling hhehe. However they arent made for tracking so wouldnt risk my life on them. For street use so far so good. They do have decent stopping power over my old brake pads whatever they were.

yeah mate.

my brakes can be a lil noisy when cold, but a couple of 'deep' corners fixes that up ;)

Okies, cause im planning to upgrade my pads aswell. My friend is running greenstuff and apparrently they are very good. I also got recommended feredos aswell cause they are cheap but will do a good job.

If anyone knows how these all compare it would be great.

I have had these vn9500's installed on my em1 for about 400km now and must say these are very good pads. good stopping power. gives you a lot more confidence for 'spirited' driving. as for brake dust, its not bad at all. from me. highly recommended.
