I'm just wondering does any1 know (for sure, no guesses) how much the Euro 16" 03-05 wheels weigh?

Also I'm assuming the 16" and 17" tyres would weigt about the same. The 16" has a higher profile but the 17" is wider so figured it would even out.

Last query, what are some light weight wheel brands?

Supposedly 9kg without tyres.

I like CE28N. They are very light. Lots of in on rim weights here: http://www.wheelweights.net/

Thanks, I recall seeing part of this thread now (should have searched, my bad).

Any idea if the 16" tyre and 17" tyre are about the same?

Tyres would also depend on the construction. But I think in general, an equal increase in width and decrease in height (profile) should still increase the weight of the tyre, because the steel belt construction of the radial section is heavier than the sidewall.
