Thinking of starting to mod my euro abit. But don't want to void the warranties on it. So what kinda of mods do not void warranties??
I got some PIAA LED white parker lights :p as my 1st mod. But what else after that??

any non-factory accessories will void ur warrenty lol... its life..
however they will assess whether those accessories either directly or in-directly cause the problems... so say if u out ur PIAA parkers then its more than likely u can still get warrenties for ur engine and brakes etc...

Search the Accord Section, we have pretty much covered different CAI and intakes, Exhausts, suspension blah blah blah... Yes... Honda is VERY strict with their warranty... If you are prepared to take the plunge like me and void a new car warranty then go all out... Otherwise wait till the warranty ends..
1st mod? full cold air intake, dam it sounds bad ass at full throttle! completely different car.
sounds similiar to the noise a WRX makes

Technically, things won't void your warranty unless it can be shown that the replaced non-factory part caused the problem (that you're trying to get them to fix).
For example, if you slam your car with really hard suspension and then go to the dealer complaining about rattles, they'll laugh at you (and rightly so) -- but that won't affect the warranty on your paint or carpets.
If the mod doesn't cause the problem -- then there are no problems. Insurance is a different matter...

But remember, with a CAI, if they find a lean condition code in the ECU, then they might put the blame on the CAI, eventhough a CAI won't cause a lean condition in your engine.

my_vtec77, its very quiet at idle. It sounds completely stock at idle i.e no sound. when u accelerate normally as u do, its prob only SLIGHTLY louder than the stock airbox but even then, the difference is very minimal. the difference in sound really comes in when u give it a bootful and open the throttle all the way and redline it. thats when u can notice the deep menacing growl. With the CAI, u can hear the VTEC engagement as well. U cant hear it when u have the normal airbox (i couldnt anyway)
But normal driving, i'd go as far as to say its close to stock. only when u punch it can u hear the full effect of having a CAI. Torque in the lower revs would be lost a bit but it makes up for it when u go past 4500rpm all the way to redline as it pulls harder
450 shipped to australia seems alrite. last year around this time i got mine for 420 shipped on ebay from this trader called "KURUMA MOTORING". Look him up, or better yet, as trip said, u might be able to get it cheaper from dave (Genk-Jomblo)

Regardless of any answer you get to your insurance question you need to call NRMA personally -especially considering your profile says you are 17 years old.

You serious????
I went the ebay route. Got me 6 LEDs for $7 a pair! Well... I've burnt out all 6 of them. For some reason, the right side keeps burning out. The LED still looks fine, but it doesn't work anymore, not even on the left side. I suspect that there is no resistor in these cheap LEDs from ebay, and end up drawing more power than they can handle. I'm back to the stock parking bulbs now. :(
BTW, I just realised, your number plate says TIU!!!! LOL!

Not sure how this works, it looks like a air filter with (maybe) a fan in side the pipe to force the air down ?
i would be concerned placing something like this in my car without more information than what is provided..

I try to go. But not always. It varies. Sometimes 1, sometimes 4!

If you want CAI, then there is only the Injen or K&N.
Don't waste your time with that electric fan, unless you are loaded with money.

It's not at P6 anymore. Now it's at Rhodes bottom level car park.
Wait for the announcement in the upcoming events as sometimes it doesn't happen. We just meetup, chat for about 30-60 minutes and then we split up to go eat dinner (depends on what people want to eat).
