Hey guys,
Im looking at getting some stock itr suspension for my vtir.
Just wanted to know how much harsher the ride is compared to stock vtir.
I was also thinking about replacing the stock itr springs with eibach prokits that i have lying in my garage, anyone know if that will make the ride even more harsh and lower the car even more?
Before you guys say anything about getting coilovers etc... i am going the cheapest option as i will only be driving my integra 3/12 months out of the year for the next few years due to work commitments.
I also know that i will need lcas and stock itr springs drop my car but about an inch
Thanks for your help guys!

i would imagine your handling will improve, if your worried about harshness maybe dont do it, but i dont think it will be any ahrsher than aftermarket springs and shocks, the way i see it man, you'd wanna enjoy those 3.5 months a year as much as possible!!!!
should be a nice difference

sorry to be a kill joy....but.....quit your job!!! ;)
the sussy will be the slightest bit more rigid, but nothing to worry about imo.

meh, its 3 months, just put the eibachs in.
Itll be enough...why is it that you want to get the itr sussy?

It will take more than a suspension swap to get a vtir to handle like a type R.
The type r actually has thicker metal in certain regions of the body, its made on an entirely different assembly line.
So in short you wont notice much diff in swapping over a type r suspension (and by suspension i mean the entire 5 lug)

Ontop of what was said above , IF you are sticking to your VTiR ~ get a larger rear swaybar as the stock one is made from comfort and nothing else.
Shocks are nice but the most improvement for (any) FWD car is a larger rear swaybar - bang for buck !
BTW dont get a "ITR" rear swaybar as it is more hassle than its worth IMO. Just settle for a aftermarket whiteline or similar swaybar setup :)

bah... the type-r is great for an OEM build, but seriously, it still feels like the car is suspended from rubber bands. just like every other factory spec mainstream car.
vti-r + good springs, shocks and swaybar > oem type-r

when i had the eibachs i had massive amounts of negative camber
more than -2.5 for front and rear
ppl said i would need camber kits which would cost around 500 bucks
my shocks have 140ks on them alot of sqeaking when giong over speed humps n stuff
i think they are on their way out.
p.s. i plan on getting a bigger swaybar but have heard bad things about whiteline squeaking as well,
so dunno what to do :(
