Not sure if this has been covered before in a thread and I couldn't find anything doing a quick search. But does anyone know what that vent is on the opposite side of the dimming knob near your steering wheel on a DC2R?
someone was asking me the other day about what it was, and I was stumped!
Cheers!

Its just a blank I think. Its if you want to put another dial there or something.
Its like other blanks you have in cars, they are spares if you want to add another switch.

It's for the cruise control feature, but we don't have it on our AUDM dc2rs.

Nope, "C555 - Under left side of dash - Cruise Main Switch"
You're probably looking at the water temp sensor which sits in the HUD.

as others have mentioned its just a blank spot for whatever you want. Some uses for it in overseas model integras are cruise control switches and jdm fog light switch. But you can stick whatever you want there, whether it be a light switch, gauges, seat eject button, engine start button, whatever.

its just a spot for the temp sensor for those equiped with climate control, hence the vents in it
but aus dont have climate control, US and JAP likely
