I went from a stock cat back, to 2.25" custom mandrel bent piping, into single long resonator with a 2.25 inlet 4.5" outlet Canon.

It sounds good, but at low revs is too loud for me. The resonance is too much for going to work in the morning at 7am. So anyways, I'm looking at changing JUST the muffler to X-Force Twin Loop (cheap $50 swap).

What kind of note and sound change should I be expecting through the rev range?

For example, currently, my setup sounds awesome at idle. At 2500-3500 it's "too loud" - short of having stereo full blast, It's overpowering. Through a carpark at 2k it sounds awesome. Once I hit 4400 I get an AWESOME note shift (kind of like a back fire) then it screams all the way through till 8100.

twinloops generally have a more stock sound, smoother revs with a (probably) higher note slightly. It would still give a nice sound, just quieter than a cannon
