K24A3 in the accord euro
140kw @ the fly
223nm of torque
K-series engine
VTEC engages from 6000-7200rpms but u cant hear it with the stock airbox. replace it with a CAI or short ram and only then will u be able to hear the crossover

It is an air intake. Basically what you are doing is openning up the engines power by supplying more cold air to the engine. Both of the option mentioned are tubes that replace stock components to gather more cold air.

Possibly, but just keep in mind that the Euro wasn't designed with performance as the main priority. It's based more on comfort and smoothness, hence you don't really hear when the vtec (iVtec for the pedantic :p ) kicks in, it's actually kinda hard to notice as well (at least in the auto).

yes i have a cold air intake and yes i can hear VTEC crossover very clearly. i also have a catback.
trust me, u will NOT hear it stock
u prob wont even feel it cuz its an i-VTEC engine, designed so that the power output is to be linear thruout the rev range, unlike the H or the B series engines which screams at the higher end revs and crossover is very noticeable.

i-VTEC is found in the newer cars such as euro, new accord, DC5R
VTEC engines is found in DC2R, EK9's, etc

not much different. Just technology development as far as i know. It wouldnt hurt to do a bit of a search on what the difference is cuz its been covered so many times already.

VTEC. Have a read. :)
