Hi i just weighed my ITR flywheel and it comes to 6kg.
Not sure if my weigher has a problem.

Does anyone know what the weight is quoted at?

If it is really 6kg, that's heaps lighter than the VTiR ones, they are dam heavy.

and all this time i thought they were all the same...

from hondatech
"it is like half the thickness of a std B-series flywheel, pretty noticeble "

Someone convert this for me...
"Sweet except no one ever posted the right weight for the itr flywheel... its 14lbs. stock b16 is almost 18lbs."

ITR = 6.3 kg
b16 = 8.1

cool i guess the scales were right then, i'd always thought it was more for some reason.

Well in goes that flywheel this weekend

Maybe the difference is due to a JDM and AUDM spec?

so an ITR flywheel sits weighs b/w aftermarket and std(ie b16a,b18c2)...

damn.. should have jsut upgraded to that when i did my last clutch change.. instead of not changing it..

they sell for pretty cheap sometimes

well i put it intoday. Haven't picked up the car cos i got busy, but will drive it tomorrow and see how it goes! hopefully there will be a nice pickup in power due to the weightloss of the flywheel! nice and cheap.
BTW thanks to Gen'ro for the flywheel and the leads!
