Brake Master Cyclinder

Hi guys i got a ed9 1991 honda crx and my master brake cyclinder is dead

when i push down on the brakes at the lights it fades to the ground..

so i called repco and they said 457.99 for a master one... :S :(

any1 know if there is a cheaper one for a crx ??? and how much cheaper.

Fark that is expensive mate. Did that include the booster as well (the black round thing that bolts onto the chasis, i think that's what it's called). Don't know about a crx one but when i changed my mazda one (back in the day b4 i had a honda) i went to the wrecker and took one off of the car there. Cost me $25 and took me and a mate 15mins to change them over.

hannys aint that cheap.. my bro just got his replaced at hannys not long ago.. they only replaced some of the kit inside (instead of replacing the whole unit) with some used part and it costed him approx. 400

Wreckers possibly? They shouldn't be that expensive. Least not 400 bux.
There's a wreckers off Cheltenham road near the sexy land that does pretty good prices.

and yes the 180sx was mighty ... mid 12 sec car :D who wouldnt be happy lol :D :P
