Alo :D. My gf has an EK GLi sedan and wants a muffler for it to make it look "cool". I told her the original is fine but she is a maria and wants a bigger one. Can anyone recommend anything that looks alright, but something relatively cheap too? I dont want it too overboard, so no 4 inch tip things please. Its an auto too, so I dont want it to sound like a droning POS, just something relatively deep but with some grunt.
I think she only wants the muffler, not a whole headers/exhaust system. As I said she is a maria and basically goes for the looks haha. Any comments welcome :)

if you want it just for looks, just wak a cannon on or something... i think 'eg5' yonas was selling one a while ago for $100.... bargin :D hehe...
otherwise, go the dc2r muffler + piping :D
Get a canon muffler... its loud, but the car doesn’t go

Obviously you didnt read what I said. I said no 4 inch tips etc. Just something small.
Anyway I have made the decision and will be getting her a N1 style muffler. Probably the cleanest looking mufflers around. Should be interesting to see how it will bolt up etc lol :D
Thanks lads

what about stock EK VTIR muffler? it looks very decent and u wont get that annoying drone associated with automatic's and exhausts!

Get a remus
Or, if you think money has value, just get an xforce tip and leave

When I hear a loud exhaust and the exhaust note as the auto tranny changes gears.... hehehe...
I reckon a DC2R muffler would be better too!

She just wants something slightly larger, with a nice "note" (going from what she told me last night). I'm going to have a look at some DC2R mufflers and go from there..
Cheers
