my rear suspension has recently started to squeak a bit. im pretty sure its only on the rear passenger side.

someone suggested the bushes might be stuffed?

im not to sure, did a search but couldnt find any results.

any help much appreciated.

cheers

yerr most likely bushes

when it happens? over bumps? going fast or slow? round corners? up drive ways...etc... my rear squeaks...i reckon its a mix of bushes and old age...so things might flex more things just loosen up over time...*shrugz*

let me know if u fix it

i dont have coilovers. its been lowered bout an inch or so, by the previous owner. usually on the highway or goin ova bumps. so yeah could b the old age and bushes. will look into gettin them fixed.

thanx

doubt the bushes, they would squeak, rather rattle/thud at all times.

sounds to me like something in the shock setup that makes noise on compression. maybe the people that installed the springs didnt put the rubber top plate back on correctly.

I have the same problem atm on my DC2, I've 99% certain it's just the springs though. It's not bothering me cos I'm moving to coilovers.

mine does the same but only when its really cold start up (ie. havn't moved the car overnight and its cold outside)
