Before you say ring up Honda parts i already have and they dont know shit. :?

The guy said he has worked there for 17 years and he has never heard of such a thing.

Having read on these boards that they do exist can someone tell me the part number so i can stick it in his face. Oh and i also want to buy one :D

Alternaitively where i can get a loom adapter for the car, specifically a Civic 2000 EK sedan.

I have tried strathfield, autoone, repco, supercheap auto, Trivett Classic Honda Service parts dept and Honda in WGong.

ed: The part is to connect to the stock wiring that plugs into the stock car HU. Basically plug this adapter to the stock wiring in the car and then wire the 3rd party loom to the adapter loom. This is so you can keep the stock car wiring intact.

Saves alot of trouble if you want to sell the car, just stick the stock HU back in and dont have to rewire anything.

Just wondering..
which part of the loom are you looking for an adaptor for? and to adapt to what?
was reading this and it is sorta vague...
from the sounds of it i think it's audio..but then i could be wrong..
not that i know where to get an adaptor...but if you clarify it better maybe someone does :?

they have heard of such things but always say try their competitors/other shops.

eg. Stratties says ring autoone, autoone ring repco, repco ring stratties

Another quick Q, ive bought the pioneer 4650 model and going to get the 5650, would the wiring plug be the same as ive already installed the 4650 and just want to swap decks without re-wiring. Would this work by just plugging it in ?

Check the wires (mainly power, constant, and earth) and if those are fine then you should be ok. Just check all the colours match up the same as the one you are buying and it should be ok. I know with Kenwoods they are mostly all the same :D
