Looking in my Log book, my Timing belt was done on the 80K service (weird..cos I thought it's normally done on 100k).
From 0-140K it got logbook services. Then at 140 when I got it, it immediately had the tranny fluid flushed and replaced, and every 5k oil filter/oil (motul) and sparks replaced by myself.
I'm about to hit 150k, which is 10k short of I'm guessing of the next major (+80k) service. My question is, is it cheaper labour wise to when I get the timing belt changed, to also get my HD Clutch and Lightweight Flywheel installed? Or will the labour charge be the same? I figure the engine is out and sitting on a bench so it should be easier?
I try to DIY, but timing belt, clutch installs etc is beyond me for now.

Not sure that the pull the engine for a timing belt. Speak with a Honda dealership and ask them how they go about it.
One of the other forum members might have an idea about this (ie Panda or ECU-man).

Yeah I was hoping to get ECUMans or someone in the know's responce. I saw his video he posted in the howto section (very cool) - which is how I came to conclusion it was beyond me.
Either case, even if it isn't coming out of the car. When it's being replaced, is it cheaper to do the clutch/flywheel at the same time to save cost in labour? Or is it two different parts of the engine?

the cam belt would have been changed at 80k coz it would have been 5 years from the build date of the car.
at our dealership we do transmission services every 20k
as for clutch + cam belt + flywheel the labour charge will be the same. the tranny and the cam belt are on opposite sites. just do your flywheel when your clutch goes on you. the only thing you would really save much money labour wise when doin a cam belt would be doing your water pump.
they don't remove the engine to change a cam belt
hope that helps :)

pretty much what Panda said,
you wont save on doing them at the same time, they are seperate jobs, and I dont think you could benifit from having the GB out when doing the timming belt.
good luck with it.

Sorry to bump my old thread. She's going in sometime this week for the full service (I'm a busy man) and I just want to confirm everything.
I'm looking at taking it to APC at Underwood cos I've heard they are alright (mindly expensive) and get them to do their 'Performance Major Service' (minus, oil + oil filter + sparks as I'll do it myself)
Basically, this will be a major service for me, so I'm looking at getting everything flushed and changed (coolant, brakes, gearbox) and also do the cam belt at the same time, with a full report on everything else. BUT, from looking at the below list. It doesn't look like they actually flush and change the fluids? It merely says check?
Performance Major Service
* Change engine oil and oil filter
* Check all coolant and fluid levels
* Pressure test cooling system and check for leaks
* Check condition of air filter, engine drive belts and hoses
* Check gearbox and differential oil levels
* Check condition of exhaust, tyres, shock absorbers, suspension, driveline components, lights and instruments
* Check and adjust brakes
* Clean battery terminals and test battery
* Check fuel filter and hoses
* Check and replace spark plugs (only if required)
* Perform compression test
* Service throttle body
* Dyno tune and obtain fuel mixtures
* Check boost level
* Check base ignition timing
* Optimise performance
* Provide before and after dyno graph
* Road test vehicle
* Evaluate engine performance and provide written report
panda[cRx], You mentioned something about saving money doing the Water Pump at the same time as Cambelt. What needs to get done to the water pump? Is it meant to be replaced after 150K's?
Thanks alot,
Matt

The water pump just gets replaced.
I'd put in cam gears if you got some while you get your timing belt changed. SHouldn't cost any extra. Hanny's performance did mine and adjusted them at no extra cost.
