gday, at the moment i running 205 tyres on 17"x7" rims and are due for new tyres. Am i able to put 215's on the same wheel? Is there any benefit or con's to this besides little extra grip?
Also anyone had any experience with Kumho's? Looking at Kumho Ecsta Supra 712..
Thanx

its weird...a freind of mine has a ek civic with 18's dumped on its ass and has no problems with tyre rubs...on my dc2 i have 17x7's lowered legally and 215 tyres just rub on the inside of my front wheel arch, 205 work perfect so i had to swap them and put the 215's to the back
just telling you from my experience i had troubles with 215 on my fronts, but then again my freinds civic has 18's dumped to about 60mm off the ground and has no probs????

i have never used kumho but my uncle will swear by them...he had a wrx with around 250kw atw with kuhmo tyres and he never lost any grip, even in the wet he got the smallest slips then it just launched...others wrx' can do wheel spins in the wet if dont have the right tyres

When buying tires I was told that any bigger than 205 would scrub and reduce my turning circle.

EDIT: That was on 16" x 7"
