Seems like Thailand is making the facelifted Accord already..
Any idea when is it coming?

The love-it-or-hate-it rear is replaced with a much cleaner and merc-looking (from certain angles) one..

power for the 2.4 is a tad higher at 170bhp

Wow thats much better than the current fugly rear lights! looks almost like a merc ;)
I find the front lights a bit too large, prefer the current ones.

Shame the 2.4i only does 170ps (Euro's does ~190ps), better get the V6 :)

wtf that black accord coupe looks strange. Looks like a Civic Coupe on steroids lol

haha..tell me about it...the rear looks like a S class merc. but they do look quite nice when done properly. so does the 6th gen coupe. but sedans still take my preference

They r already here. Saw them at the dealer today. Rear looks 100x better than the old one, with LED lights, and built-in third brake light on the boot lid. Much sharper looking, though the front is still the same.

Is it just an MMC facelift, or is it a proper model refresh?

Its hard to tell lol.

yeh that is a pretty impressive car..
but i dont know, i think that a lot of the new range hondas are loosing their sportier look and are going more classy..

but it works both way because i still think it looks awesome

I think I prefer the current Accord Euro, yes, the normal Accord has an ugly rear, but the current Euro front lights look awesome, even the Odyssey has nice lights, but now the Accord just looks like a big Civic, from the front anyway.

Yeh same here, I prefer the Euro anyday.

The normal Accords simply look too conservative, even with the new facelift. I'm a sucker for sporty luxury European style sedans ;)

i believe the headlights are the same.. could be the photo angle which made it looked too big.. it does shows some black inserts, which, IMHO, is better looking than the current chrome ones.

and.. i saw that the V6 has a power DROP.. hope it does not affect the V6s we are getting

What do you mean "they are already here" ?
In Australia? or US?

Because i havent seen it on Honda dealers here in Australia.

Well, it does look better, and I just noticed the black one is a 2 door, damn well wish we would get those here :)

Its kinda like the Falcon AU, it had rear lights everyone here hated, now there is a near identical rear end on the new Mercs, I think Ford were just a couple of years early.

Sadly Honda just doesnt chase the performance market like Holden and Ford here HSV and FPV, Honda should have a Mugen division here, then there would be fast Hondas EVERYWHERE!

In summary, Yay for new rear lights :)

Exactly. Saw the new Fiesta in Europe this week and from the front I was sure it was a Jazz. See what I mean?

The facelifted Accord is already on display in Honda showrooms? Might go check one out this weekend.

The best would be that they bring in the coupe version... That's sweetness to the sugar grain...

Might go check out the new Accord if it's in the showroom....

its already here at some dealers, they should be just getting detailed now and be on the showroom floors ds weekend. i drove one today,v6 auto almost the same just a basic facelift, (just like the 06 jazz) engine's and gearbox the same for both v6 and 4cylinder,not sure of price but the rear of the car is the only real change.
dont expect the quality to be the same as they were...made in thailand now.

I thought all the 7th gen Accords were made in Thailand?

...Both the fugly rear end and the new MMC facelift (or should I say arselift lol)?

UNLS can you pls find out for us what changes they have made to up the power from 118kW on the VTi to 125kW? I'm curious as to whether or not it can be easily applied to the previous VTi (2005 model)
