As above and also what Wynode said - but don't buy cheap 4-1 header aka hurricane and its ilk - I remember Chuck telling me he got no improvement over the stock manifold with cheapies.

Quick note: "headers" implies 2 or more - usually seen on a V4, V6, V8 etc. B-series Hondas run a "header" - singular not plural ;)

4-1 you will lose a fair bit of low end power, but will pick up more through the top end.
4-2-1 is a nice in between design that gives u alot more of a even flow.

mandrel bent = uniform pipe diameter for a bend

i.e: instead of the pipe being bent and crushed into place it is streched so that it does not loose shape internally

That's the ideal size, with 2.5" you loose too much power down low...
