Hi all,
just did a search in the forum and no one has done it yet so i thought i would post a quick review of the pedders suspension i have on the car
All below is my opinion.
CAR : EURO Accord 2004 model
K's when switched over to pedders springs : @53,000
current k's at time of post: 61,000
other mods: 17 in Roh fury wheels with Yokohama v505 rubber
whiteline rear sway bar
**Before pedders sportsryder springs**(VSA ON)
The car ride hieght was standard and noticeable body roll when cornering (>50km/h)
the euro is already quite responsive in cornering (IMHO) compared to previous similar rides (VN commie and TP Magna). and based on feed back from passengers. No real issues with the OEM springs. a little too bouncy for my liking over some bumps etc..
**After Pedders sportsryder springs**(VSA ON)
The car ride height reduced by 30mm.
less body roll on cornering,
front end tends to roll a bit compared to backend , but this possibly because of rear sway bar..
cornering (depending on some conditions) now has the car sliding out a little.
Actuall cornering i believe has become more responsive to a point before the car starts to slide out a bit. (VSA ON)
bouncyness taken out of car,
rear seat passengers now complain about ride
the car has not bottomed out (yet).
My opinion is that the modification was a good one, and in my opinion increased looks of car, handling and driveability from driver point of view, however rear passengers may not have as good a ride as previously.
Im open to comments/questions , further clarification, i unfortuntely dont know all the techo terms for this stuff, and im also aware that not everyone has this setup but hopefully it will help others in the future in deciding whether or not to go with pedders sports ryder springs for the euro :)
Cheers
