Hey guys,

Not sure which category this goes into but I've done a search on this as well and not much luck for the DC5R's.

To be honest there isn't much info on DC5's at all.

Anyways, i'm looking for a cat-back exhaust. There is so many to choose from. What would be an option for me if I was to find a MILDLY QUIET (before Vtec)/POWER GAINING exhaust?

I was looking at Kakimoto and Fujitsubo and Tanabe.

Does anyone have any other opinions on this topic.

I would suggest Fujitsubo RM-01. It costed me $1080. It is a very nice exhaust system.

sorry, wasnt sure what to place the issue.

Yeh I checked out the RSX forum but still trying to figure out who here has used it.

So you guys recommend the Fujitsubo RM-01.

has anyone tried using the Kakimoto exhaust?
is it quiet as well?

If you are just comparing just comparing cat backs then RM-01A is quiter then a Powergetter. (I am just comparing the two most popular exahaust from FGK)

But after you put on an after market header the RM-01a becomes louder then the Powergetter.

Meaning if you plan to get after market header and want quiet, might as well get the PG since its cheaper any ways.

Its werid but true.

look in the trader section a few if not most of them sell exhaust systems...all simliar prices i believe too...

i would go RM01a...

and u wont be getting much power by getting just the cat-back need to get header and cat aswell....just becareful...im not sure about dc5 but jdm catback usually arent excactly bolt on so u might have to change ur cat....worst case get new jdm headers too.....so yerr...look into first

I got 5zigen Fireball , it's really quiet during the idle and cruising :D

Nowhere near buddy club. Probably it's comparable with mugen with a little bit noise

go powergetter.. would recommended.. most noticable thing is vtec kickin in much stronger... not too loud when in idle, and sounds nice during vtec...

Is it loud when your on a freeway? at about 3200 rpms?

to be honest i dont want an exhaust that gets annoying when you reving at that particular speed.

Do a search in this forum (Integra) as well, as it has been covered before and you might get other/different responses.

Good luck with it :)
