Hey guys just wondering if anyone can recomend a good brand/type of tyre to fit standard dc2r rims. Just bought the car, previous owner has just put brand new sava's on but they dont do anything for the cars cornering potential at all. Just wondering weather to run a semi-slick or something along those lines?

Congra new typeR owner!
I found Bridgestone Potenza G3 is a good choice  (on dry & wet) for its price. Not so sure about Semi Slick.

dont go semi slicks unless ur trackiing like every weekend or something even then dont use semi slicks on the road....pour waste, of tyre and money...

go something like g3, yoko es or ad07, potenza (original ones cant remember the code) or something like that....higher end road tyres no need for semi slicks.....

but if by any chance u are a regular tracker and u want a second set for the tracks....advan a048 cant go wrong

edit: my mistake..changed!

Advan ad07 is the ultimate choice for street tyres, don't get anything less. Ad07 is the best street tyre. they are not semi slicks, advan a048 is.

gIII are good... I find them lacking though... I find that they dont feel as confident in the wet, which is obvious... gna try yokos next (street tyres)...check the thread above

Are AD07's ADR approved? don't want to find insurance voiding your policy.
