Edouard Michelin
Early reports coming from France claim that Edouard Michelin has lost his life whilst on a fishing expedition near the French Finistere region as his boat sunk near the Sein Island. Michelin and a friend sailing with him, both lost their lives.

With an engineering degree behind him, Michelin joined the company that bares his name in 1985. From May 12th Michel Rollier and Michelin managed the group in the capacity of Managing Partners.

This weekend, the French tyre firm are chasing their fifth straight Monaco Grand Prix victory. Our thought and condolences go to Edouard Michelin's family, friends and colleagues.

u don't need to know someone to respect them. so if a family member of urs died and someone made stupid comments don't u find it dissrespectful even if they didn't know ur family ?

It was an inappropiate statement, you might dislike the tyre Michelin but we are talking about someones life.

Said news about his boating accident, lets hope McLaren or another Michelin team do well for him this weekend (excluding Alonso)
