hey luke, ive had them in my eg civic hatch for ober 2 years and there still f#ckn awsome, i didnt need to change the sway bars either, also the same coil overs are now in my integra but with diferent valving and spring rate, i was able to sent them back to hot bits and the did it in house... i wanted the civic and integra to handle like a go kart and thats what i got.
hot bits can build your coilovers to what ever you want. there made in germany with the help of koni and put togeather here, valving is built here to suit our conditions..
pm me if you have any questions

Serial Number tracking
If you buy something hot and try to get in fixed down the track and its Serial Number tracked your f**ked
unbelieveable Price = somethings a miss in most case's
But you can get lucky sometimes

well aparently his mate had a dc2 gsi and the buyer wanted it stock? aparently he sold rims and all, pretty hard to get it off the car unless it got stolen from a house. i doubt they are hot. as far as i had a look, they are in perfect condition like they havnt been cleaned or wiped as you would see wipe marks, only think im worried about is the chock bit when it compresses - will they need re gassing. would you know how they should feel when you press the shock bit down? easy or fairly firm?

might just wanna get em serviced regardless (check with sussy shop first) so at least you know the condition of them and what has/hasnt been done.

basically they check for leaks, check all the vallves, regas, basically a recondition. I dont know 100% but thats the jist of it. Price i dont know as well unfort, but i'm sure someone will provide an answer. I heard from the grapevine it was around $80 - $100 per shock. i heard. but please dont quote me on that. But regardless, u got urself a good deal anyway so be happy :)

ive had heaps of experince with hot bits, you might find that the rear springs could be a little too hard for a civic, as i have done the opposite swap, eg to dc2, the rear springs in my civic were rated at 25 but the ones for the dc2 needed to be 50-60, the rating is written on the spring eg-(30/230), 30 is the spring rating and the 230 height rating.
also the ride might be a little choppy or rough as the valving is suited to the dc2 and yes it does make a difference, but it all comes down to what you want to do with your car.
aprox $250 each end rebuilt including springs, i know its exspensive, but you will know the difference.....
but this is only my point of view..

yeh i saw a 50 printed on them the rears i think anyway they sussy shop checked them out and said they were fine and didnt need rebuilding... anyway its all not really for track, going to get into drag racing.
