What type of clutch fluid should i use for my EH9. Its running a lil low. needs a top up. I find my clutch goes hard and short after a hard drive. If i let it settle, it comes back to normal

Use dot 4 brake fluid. Simple :)

Also , best to totally bleed the clutch system with fresh fluid.
Very easy to do ! reply back if you have any trouble.

If you can use aftermarket, they are good too. But newer Hondas unfortunately specify Honda brake fluid only... :(

DOT 5.1 will withstand higher temperatures than DOT 4. But you won't be able to exceed even DOT 4's max temperature on the street.

DOT 5.1 does absorb moisture quicker than DOT 4, so for the clutch which doesn't experience as high a temperature as the brake fluid, I'd use DOT 4, and leave 5.1 for the brakes.

I know all about this. My brake master cylinder was leaking hardcore about a year back cos it was dodgy as. Striped a bit of paint off the booster and firewall.:(

If it was just a bit, then you are lucky. This guy's car got splashed with brake fluid. The fluid was just thrown on the car.
