or are they same shape as the stock ones except they're clear?

Clear roof & gutter silicon.

I used blu-tac on my old celica and it worked perfectly!!
You can try that if you don't want to get a new one. If that doesn't work, try double-sided tape.
BUT
I think you can pick up aftermarket ones quite cheaply now (forget how much i paid for my clear ones)
